Lymba is a Natural Language Processing company based in Dallas that offers best-in-class Knowledge Management software solutions to transform large unstructured data collections into actionable knowledge. Lymba’s mission is to empower customers to manage the burden of increasingly large and complex, unstructured text data. We give users natural language interfaces to discover knowledge in Big Data. Asking questions naturally as they would ask it normally to another person avoids learning curves and increases expressivity. Lymba has integrated its award winning technology to make chatbots smarter. Leveraging a chat bot's integrated conversation management, Lymba increases the brains behind the bot by connecting to our deep semantic NLP pipeline.

Expanded Graph Database Support
As graph databases, or enterprise knowledge graphs, become more popular, it is important to support them. While Lymba continues to be graph agnostic when it comes to the RDF Triples output of our NLP pipeline, we now officially support seamless integration with Stardog, Oracle, MarkLogic, AnzoGraph, and AllegroGraph.

Launch NL2Query™
Responding to client needs, Lymba officially launched Natural Language to SPARQL capabilities, so that users can ask questions in plain English that are automatically translated to querying languages.
Expand Presence to New York
With an increased focus on Financial Services, Lymba opened a New York-area office to better serve our banking and insurance clients. This team pays special attention to customer success and drives implementations.

Processing Chinese
Nearly 20% of the worlds population speak Chinese, however the knowledge generated in this language is hardly available for non-Chinese speakers. Lymba's tool provides a bridge between cultures, extracting and aligning knowledge in both Chinese and English.

OCR and Text in Images Support
Responding to the customer needs, Lymba developed tools for processing image-only PDFs and other image formats. The tools recognize the structure of the documents: header, authors, sections, tables and images, reference, etc.

Wins Question Answering Competition
Lymba's PowerAnswer tool wins TREC competition on Question Answering. The tool showed 70% accuracy on factoid questions like How many bubbles a bottle of champagne has?, outperforming other systems by 20% or more.
Automatic Ontology Building
Lymba developed tools for automatic ontology extraction and merging and human verification. Ontologies allows to see the big picture of a domain: important people, organization, ideas and relations between them. Our ontology tools also grasp the key terms and slang within the domain.

Lymba Founded
Dr. Dan Moldovan founded Lymba Corporation as a spin-off from Language Computer Corporation to focus on commercial applications. The name “Lymba” is derived from Romanian “limba” - language.
