Multi-Lingual Support allows K-Platform products to operate on non-English documents in order to address the global needs of every business. The Multi-Lingual Support product has two components, machine translation, and native language analysis.
Lymba machine translation uses a proprietary algorithm for mapping non-English words, phrases, and sentences to English and the reverse. There are nine non-English to English translations and five English to non-English translations.
The K-Platform is designed to use the machine translation component with each of the products supporting multilingual ontology building, question answering, topic browsing, and more.
The machine translation can be trained on request for up to 18 languages listed here. K-Platform tools and products that work on non-English texts are in development and today a limited NLP pipeline is available for evaluation for German and Chinese.
