Lymba Corporation is a 6 year old company, formed in 2005. Lymba is in the business of transforming unstructured content, like news articles, blogs, product manuals, tweets, e-mails, and analyst reports, into structured resources that can be stored as database entries or semantic triples, and indexed for boolean retrieval.

Lymba has participated in numerous government sponsored R&D programs in order to develop world class technology that is now packaged in a commercial product, the K-Platform. Our technology is direct result of our experience research and product team whose members have been active in Natural Language Processing (NLP) for as much as 20 years, and have collectively authored over 300 papers in prestigious conferences, symposia, and journals.

Meet the management team

Dr. Dan Moldovan, CEO and Founder

Dr. Moldovan founded Lymba Corporation in 2005 as a spinoff of his previous company, Language Computer Corporation. During his almost three decades of work in cutting-edge computer technologies, he has been employed at Bell Labs, Hughes Research Labs, and has been a Program Director at the National Science Foundation (NSF). His academic career includes faculty positions at The University of Southern California (USC), Southern Methodist University (SMU), and The University of Texas at Dallas.

Mrs. Christine Nezda, Director of Engineering

Mrs. Nezda brings more than 10 years of experience as a project leader, system architect, and researcher, 7 of them as a natural language specialist at Language Computer Corporation and Lymba Corporation. During her time with LCC and Lymba, Mrs. Nezda co-authored eight publications on the topic of inference in question answering and led the TREC winning effort from 2004-2007. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington, Seattle in 2001 and her Masters Degree in Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2007.

Dr. Chris Irwin Davis, Director of Business Development

Dr. Davis has 15 years of industry experience at Fortune 500 technology companies, including Texas Instruments and Nortel Networks. His project management background includes customer-facing roles in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Supply Chain Management (SCM). Additionally, his academic research in computational linguistics and foreign languages (Persian, Tajik, French) gives him the ability to understand the technical needs as well as the business of Lymba's market.
